The Parent Support Organization (PSO) plays an important role for NFSSE. The PSO helps the school with multiple annual events and projects including the “Love My School” Dinner & Auction in February, the Scholastic Book Fair in March and the Cookie Dough Fundraiser in April. The PSO helps to organize volunteer opportunities for numerous school activities including class field trips, “Mulch Day”, Teacher and Administration Appreciation Luncheon, the Fall Festival, pizza parties, Homeroom Parents for the classrooms, and many more. They serve as an integral part of the school and staff welcomes their involvement. Parents can help arrange musical entertainment during the school year, art activities, assist with tutoring and large school mailings, and many other helpful volunteer projects. NFSSE appreciates our parents, families and grandparents and look forward to your involvement in your student’s educational and extra-curricular activities.
Do you want to connect with other NFSSE families? Do you have ideas and resources to share? Do you have questions about your child with developmental disabilities?
An online community, exclusively for families of NFSSE is here! Please provide your information to Allison Mitchell at the school OR contact a PSO Officer for details. Access is by invitation only.
