On-Site Therapy

North Florida School therapists focus on integrating therapeutic approaches not only individually, but within the classroom. The Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists assist in setting up the classroom and academic presentations which take into consideration the visual, auditory, and sensory processing needs of students. Their focus is on classroom learning, as well as, group and individual therapies using advanced therapy approaches.

Social Skills are an important part of our student’s ability to achieve success and independence. We work closely with families to implement social behavior plans that integrate and support both home and school settings.

Our Parent Resource Nights help to strengthen the coordinated approach of North Florida School with student’s families. These Resource Nights bring in specialists in areas of nutrition, vision, curriculum and social services, as well as parenting classes to provide support to the special needs of parenting the students who attend North Florida School.

Gifts to the resource services fund would provide:

  • Individual therapy services to students
  • Specialized sensory materials for the classrooms
  • Replenish and enrich therapy program materials
