3rd Annual River Hops
On Saturday, May 5, 2012, North Florida School of Special Education will host the 3rd Annual RiverHops. This year’s RiverHops will have a Cinco de Mayo theme, so is sure to be a fantastic evening! The 2011 RiverHops, held at the San Marco estate of Lori and Tyrie Boyer, was a great success…raising over $36,000! This year’s event will feature cocktails & hors d’ oeuvres, followed by a 4-course seated dinner prepared by renowned Jacksonville chef, Chef Tom Gray of Bistro Aix – all with a very festive flair. Each course will be skillfully paired with complimenting beers, provided by our event partner, Mr. Daniel Naes of Anheuser-Busch, Inc. The gourmet dinner will be served alfresco, along the banks of the beautiful St. Johns River, at the home of Dr. Abhijit Deshmukh. The evening will also feature a silent auction that will include original works of art crafted by our NFSSE students. Reserve your spot soon as tables are selling quickly!!
