The mission of North Florida School of Special Education is to improve the lives of students with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities through the achievement of academic, vocational and social skills. We bring this mission to life every single day within the walls of our classrooms.
At North Florida School of Special Education, our faculty and staff are committed to providing a comprehensive, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for each student that meets his or her needs and sets realistic goals for success. NFSSE offers six levels of Unique Learning System (ULS) curriculum and instruction within ten classrooms, and adheres to a 1:6 Teacher to Student Ratio.
