The mission of North Florida School of Special Education is to discover and foster each student’s unique abilities within an engaged community. An engaged community is integral to all we do. We invite you to be a part of this community that celebrates and connects people of all ages and abilities.
Our engaged community is the…
- 1000+ volunteers who step foot on this campus each year to share experiences and form relationships in the reverse inclusion programs.
- 25 corporate job and internship sites where students gain employable skills and employers and their customers gain the tangible and intangible value of including and being served by individuals with IDDs.
- 1000+ of donors who support the education, therapeutic, and recreation programs at NFSSE through the annual fund and event giving.
- 265+ students plus multitudes of family members who form strong bonds, deep friendships, and support systems that last a lifetime.
We invite you to discover one of the meaningful ways to engage in this community.
