We are so excited for a new year filled with new opportunities and new students. Welcome to all our returning and brand-new families! Our culinary program has grown, and we have staff changes, along with a new branch of culinary education.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Culinary Academy led by instructor, Natalie Thomas. The Academy will be a focused 16-week intensive training M-F for passionate young adults with intellectual or developmental differences who are interested in employment within the culinary/hospitality industry of Jacksonville. Adam Tate is new to the team this year and is the manager of lunch services. We are happy to introduce a more user-friendly ordering system called Boonli, in place of MySchoolBucks (MSB), to order lunches for your student. Student lunch orders should be submitted the Wednesday before the scheduled lunch week. For example, if your child wants to start receiving lunches on Monday, August 15th, you will need to place the order with Boonli by Wednesday August 10 at midnight.
Sandwich box lunches will continue to be an option, the only difference this year is that you will have a choice between PB&J, Ham & Swiss, or Turkey & Cheddar on any day of the week. The box comes with the sandwich of choice, chips and fresh fruit. Hot lunches will continue with the same delicious variety as last year. Milk can be added to any lunch option. In response to inflation and supply chain issues across the nation, we are increasing the price of school lunches by $1. Please contact Adam with any questions about lunch ordering: email@example.com
