*Utilize established curriculum in both individual and group instruction.
*Must have experience in the development and administration of IEPs based on student’s strengths and needs.
*Maintain accurate and complete student records and prepare reports on activities.
*Monitor student progress, participate in review and revision of IEP as appropriate.
*Employ special education strategies and techniques during instruction to improve academic growth, social-emotional language and independence.
*Abide by school established professional code of ethics.
*Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
*Instruct and guide students in the development of personal skills such as goal setting, independence, organization, and self advocacy.
*Encourage students to explore learning opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks.

Pay: $42,750-$47,500 per year
